OUR COMMITMENT TO ETHICAL PRACTICES

LifeNet Health is committed to the ethical acquisition and use of donor biospecimens for medical research. We believe that research using biospecimens holds immense potential to improve human health, and we strive to ensure this is achieved with respect for donors and adherence to ethical principles.

OUR COMMITMENT TO ETHICAL INFORMED CONSENT

We obtain biospecimens through collaborations with institutions that adhere to strict informed consent procedures. Donors are provided with clear information about how their biospecimens will be used, the potential risks and benefits, and their right to withdraw consent at any time.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY

We prioritize donor privacy. All biospecimens are de-identified, meaning personal information is removed, before
distribution to researchers. We have robust data security measures in place to protect any remaining identifiable data associated with the biospecimens.

BIOSPECIMEN USE AND OVERSIGHT

Documented review of an ethical review by the researchers Institutional Review Board (IRB) may be required to obtain a LifeSciences procured biospecimen.

RESPECT FOR DONORS

We acknowledge the generosity of biospecimen donors. Their contribution is critical to medical advancement. We strive to honor their trust by ensuring their biospecimens are used for the intended research purposes and with the utmost respect.

By acknowledging this statement, you confirm that you will use the biospecimens you order in accordance
with ethical research practices and all applicable laws and regulations.
